Amanda’s travels to Europe and the Mediterranean created an open-mindedness not only in terms of flavours and products; but also in the way we run Saucisse – giving customers the option to choose and build their own meals, with our expert guidance.

"Food should inspire curiosity and experimentation – two qualities which we encourage at Saucisse. To ensure we stay relevant and keep our customers coming back for more, we strive to be at the forefront of industry trends." - AMANDA LEWIS

“We are trying to become a model eatery to show other restaurants that it’s easy to make the transition to becoming green”

A trip to Zambia with the green afforestation NGO Greenpop to manage their eco-responsible kitchen led Amanda to assess the daily running of Saucisse. "We have since implemented sustainable eco-initiatives into our daily business processes." - AMANDA LEWIS

An integral part of our Saucisse fibre is to source, stock and promote ONLY local produce – becoming a platform for local, artisanal producers to showcase their products. This also promotes the sustainable idea of “know your farmer” to customers – something we keep close to our hearts.

Saucisse has earned Eco Star status on the ethical directory, ECO ATLAS. This great initiative celebrates ethical businesses by  providing a one-stop green guide for conscious consumers and travellers empowering them to choose where to eat, play and stay based on sound environmental and ethical practices.
